Mark Kendall’s first film at SocDoc was a finalist for the Student Academy Awards last year and now his thesis premiered at the SXSW film festival this March.

Dawn’s thesis film “World on a String” won the top spot in the documentary film category at the 2012 College Emmy Awards.

Alumnus Alexa Karolinski premiered her thesis film “Oma and Bella”, Bao Nguyen attended the Berlinale Talent Campus, and Department Chair Maro Chermayeff’s latest made it’s European debut at the 2012 Berlinale.
