Natalie D Tofano

Natalie D Tofano

Natalie is a Northern California native, and graduated from Stanford University in 2006 with a B.A. in Urban Studies. She worked with youth development nonprofits in San Francisco, and in 2008 created a music empowerment program for girls with four other women, Bay Area Girls Rock Camp. Natalie’s interest in documentary film sparked when she became friends with a documentary film student at Stanford. She felt inspired by the power of people’s stories and the challenge of how to capture them. Her senior research project turned into a short documentary film, and in 2010 she created a short fiction film through a workshop.
