Dana Kalmey is a documentary filmmaker whose roster includes TRAPPED and E-TEAM (Sundance), WELL GROOMED (SXSW), (DIS)HONESTY: THE TRUTH ABOUT LIES (CNBC), and BACKPACK FULL OF CASH (narrated by Matt Damon), amongst others. Her work has screened and broadcast nationally and internationally, and can be found streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Her soccer film, THE LAST 90 MINUTES, is currently in post-production, while TANDEM, about the forgotten Hawaiian sport and tradition of tandem surfing, is in production. She is a 2017 Impact Partners Producing Fellow, holds a MFA in Social Documentary Film from SVA, is trained as an architect, and is a former college soccer coach and former architecture teacher with The Green Gecko Project in Siem Reap, Cambodia. She is also a recurring guest speaker on the art of the documentary interview at New York University.
