Jessie Adler

Jessie Adler

Jessie is a visual storyteller based in Brooklyn, NY. After she received her Bachelor's of Fine Arts from SUNY Purchase in 2007, she used photography to explore cultures and social issues in the Americas, Europe and Asia. In 2014, Jessie began working as the Human Rights Storyteller for EarthRights International, where she created visual content that supported and celebrated the work of human and environmental rights activists in the Mekong and Amazon Regions. Her focus on using photography and video as a means for advocacy and empowerment lead her to the School of Visual Art's MFA Social Documentary Film program, where she is currently a student.
