Melanie is an emerging documentary filmmaker, focusing on food politics and women's issues. She is co-founder at Flying Giant Productions, has also worked as a commercial photographer and branded content director since moving to NYC after a short stint in the US Air Force. She holds a Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University in Journalism and Visual Art and is a candidate for a Masters in Fine Arts from SVA’s Social Documentary Film program. She loves to explore the globe and create culinary concoctions out of whatever is in her Brooklyn fridge.
