Sol Zurita

Born in Ecuador, Sol has a degree in Social Communication - majoring in Audiovisual. In 2014 she attended to the International Workshop on High Studies "Documentary construction in the audiovisual field" in the EICTV - International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de Los Ba̱os - Cuba. There she made the documentary "Jaque," with partners from Spain, Mexico, Paraguay and Colombia. For Sol, the documentary film is the ability to understand and observe the world without losing the sense of wonder, is look ourselves in the mirror of reality and dive into new worlds. Sol seeks to turn stories of others in part of their own history.
