Carolina Pazmino

Carolina Pazmino grew up in Quito, Ecuador, but moved to Australia when she was 13. While in Australia, she attended the University of New South Wales in Sydney, received her BFA in Film & Video, and immersed herself in experimental videos and such humanitarian causes as the East Timorese crisis and the Aboriginal Stolen Generations apology movement. When Carolina immigrated to the United States, she embarked on a career in luxury fashion. But in 2014, she returned to her true passion as a filmmaker by earning her MFA in Social Documentary from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Carolina wants to continue perfecting her storytelling and filmmaking skills producing social documentaries and non-traditional documentaries.
