City Symphony: Wall Street, ghosts and power.

By Raúl Paz Pastrana

Share

This black and white short paints a surrealistic view of Wall Street. It highlights many corporate buildings from the area, Trinity Church (one of the oldest churches in the United States) and ground zero. It uses Excerpts from Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” to enhance it’s feeling of waiting and despair. Katia Ustinova narrates the film. It was finished as a project for the Social Documentary Master program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
