Mark Kendall

Mark Kendall is a Student Academy Award-nominated director from Ardmore, PA. After studying Anthropology and Latin American Studies at Vanderbilt University, he graduated from the MFA program in Social Documentary Film at the School of Visual Arts in New York. His first film, THE TIME MACHINE, was a National Finalist at the 2011 Student Academy Awards, recipient of the CINE Special Jury Award and CINE Golden Eagle Award, the Grand Prize Winner of Telegraph 21′s “Best of Student DOCS” Contest, and winner of 10 additional festival awards. Kendall was a Fellow at the 2011 Sundance Institute Creative Producing Summit and one of 25 filmmakers selected to participate in the first annual “Emerging Visions” program developed by IFP and the Film Society of Lincoln Center at the 2011 New York Film Festival. He recently completed his feature directorial debut, LA CAMIONETA, which premiered at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival and is currently screening at festivals around the world.
